While facts have been ruled out as an inefficient source for debate, morality and absolutes are still available for discussion. The Bible teaches that in the beginning God established right and wrong and holds man accountable for his actions. This moral grounding influences all of mankind's daily lives, whether they openly acknowledge it or not. Evolution offers no valid explanation for the existence of moral absolutes. If evolution was correct, then there would be no right and wrong. The only only law influencing the actions of man would be “survival of the fittest.” Therefore, if evolution was correct, then there would be nothing stopping a man from killing his neighbor. He would have no conscience provoking him of the immorality of his actions, because there would be no moral basis upon which his conscience could effectively operate. In reality, if evolution was true there would be no basis upon which man could even reason. If we are all really the result of chance random processes, then so is our ability to intelligently think. Thus, our entire ability to process information and discern what is reality would be entirely random. What one man might perceive as reality might be viewed by another man as a completely absurd hallucination. In fact, humans would have no way of discerning whether reality was actually existent at all. Entire portions of our lives could potentially be mere figments of our imagination. This concept reveals that even though evolutionists attempt to destroy the basis for creationism, they still operate their daily lives upon the moral principles and absolutes established in the Word of God.
Lastly, evolutionists argue that everything we see today is a result of the big bang, which occurred approximately 13.7 years ago. The big bang theory states that all matter in the universe is the result of a massive explosion, and that the universe continues to expand to this day. This theory has a serious fault from the beginning. Matter cannot, under any circumstances, originate from non matter. The concept is entirely absurd and defies the laws of physics. Because matter is essentially composed of energy, the laws of energy apply to matter as well. The first law of thermodynamics clearly states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only change form. The concept that energy could possibly originate from nothing on its own and then accumulate itself into organized forms of matter defies all sensible logic. On the biological level, evolution continues to blatantly defy logic. Evolutionists believe that chance processes occurred, resulting in all the right chemicals necessary to create life organizing into a single cell, reproducing life form. This theory of spontaneous life is entirely ridiculous. Scientists today have active knowledge of the chemicals necessary to create life, and even under controlled laboratory conditions they are unable to reenact such a scenario. This is due to the deoxyribonucleic acid that controls the development and functions of an organism. Every organism contains a unique DNA code written in four characters: Adenine (A), Guanine (G), Cytosine (C), and Thymine (T). These characters write out the entire genetic coding for all of the cell's multiple purposes and functions. The DNA code is impossible to comprehend or reconstruct entirely by man, and therefore scientists are unable to recreate life even when they have combined the necessary chemicals to do so. The existence of life depends on the presence of DNA, and DNA cannot exist without the presence of the code responsible for its construction. Therefore without code, DNA cannot exist, and without DNA there is no code. This concept points directly to the fact that an intelligent being created life. Without a divine maker who constructed life and established order in our universe, there would be no moral groundings, no life, and no matter present in our universe. In essence, there would be no universe to begin with. All creation provides testimony of a greater being than mankind that intelligently planned out our origin and existence. Therefore it a matter of faith, not facts, that influences an individual's belief concerning where we came from. Evolution allows an individual to create his own rules, to ignore responsibility, and to submit to no man but himself. On the other hand, creation insists that there is a God to whom we must submit and obey. It requires man to live by a moral code and to accept the consequences of his actions. These requirements are difficult to accept, and as a result mankind often rejects the Bible's truth despite the evidence stacked in its favor. Instead, they invest their faith into anti-theistic theories in a humanistic attempt to explain our existence and purpose. In the end, it is faith, not facts, that is the determining factor in the argument between evolution and creation.
